The Apple Tree is off the beaten track hidden at the bottom of Cleeve Hill, only two miles from the famous Cheltenham Racecourse. The inn is popular among racegoers but many other regulars come for the well stocked bar, weekly entertainment and good food.

From Cheltenham follow the A435 to Bishops Cleeve. Pass the Esso garage and turn right at the traffic lights into Two Hedges Rd. At the end of the road turn left at the T junction onto New road. Take the 2nd right into Stockwell Lane.

A traditional old country bar with a modern twist, a super inglenook fireplace and relaxed seating, with lots of character and corners to hide away.

The restaurant is divided into two, the upper restaurant giving an air of being in a conservatory and the lower restaurant closer to the bar with a real gas looking fire - cosy and warm without being impersonal.
